Merlijn provides an exceptional experience. The tours are extremely well organized and the barge is comfortable and well suited to a group. The meals are extraordinarily lovely with a thoughtful approach to our day and to our environment. Wine and drinks flow freely. The staff are warm and supportive and always available for help and small kindnesses. The tour guide is excellent with a well organized approach to managing safety and appropriate distances and rest stops for coffee and a pastry. Germany is a perfect venue for a bike tour with excellent bike paths everywhere and old towns, castles and forested pathways. Our fellow travellers without exception were easy companions and easily accepted the kind administrations of the Merlijn staff. All in all, an exceptional experience.
